Easter in Mesquite

Last week for Easter we enjoyed a fun week in Mesquite, NV. We golfed, colored eggs, flew a kite, went on walks in search of stray golf balls, ate lots of yummy food, ate Grandma Shirley’s birthday cake, played in St. George with Grandma & Grandpa Clark and Nate, Becky & Bennett, hunted for Easter baskets, played games, ate Easter candy, and even slept a little.

It was also the first year that Connor has understood a little more about why we celebrate Easter. It was fun to talk to him about Jesus and what He did for us. Connor was very happy to know that “Jesus died and then him not died.” We’re working on the word resurrection. He was also concerned with the people who didn’t like Jesus. He wanted to get them with his sword.

It was a great time and blessing to celebrate Easter with our family. And yes, I am one of those moms who coordinates their kids clothing...I'm not ashamed!

We stopped by Grandma & Grandpa Packer's on the way home
and showed them Mabel's cute Easter dress

Connor's not much of a morning person...especially when church in Mesquite is at 8am!
